Astra CDTi production car, Holden factory race car built by PMM for the 2007 Bathurst 12 hour sponsored by Bendon, built to showcase the power of the new diesel Astra. Also competed in the 2009 12 hour for the Holdsworth family, did some production racing for a few years after but more recently just used as a fun track car. VS commodore cup car. Built new by Dean ORR of Perkins Engineering, and never raced as class was cancelled prior to completion. The shell was a NOS lightweight shell with no Holden VIN or chassis number. Running 253 Gene Cook race engine. Aluminium Commodore Cup car heads. Super T10 PPG dog box full floater differential Alcon 6 spot brakes. AIM dash. Race Tech seat PWR radiator. Currently Logged as improved production but most suited as entry level sport sedan.
