The AC Schnitzer S5 3.0iX is a Schnitzer conversion of a BMW 525 iX This car was built by BMW in RHD (unique for a 525iX) and then underwent the conversion at the UK Schnitzer workshop. The original M50 BMW engine is replaced with a Schnitzer S5 engine which is 3.0 litre and with Schnitzer cams, porting and new manifold and exhaust. I’ve bought another car now so keen to move this on quickly. Backstory : I had intended to go large turbo with this build, hence the built forged bottom end, but a business opportunity and a new car has had me consider a change of direction to free up some cash.
