About 8mm long where something had been stacked on it. I fitted it to my VL race car on the weekend but due to the shoulder supports location i was unable to change gears comfortably. It's got a pair of custom brackets to suit VS front calipers and the shock mounts have been cut off as well aa the car that it was in ran a rose jointed panhard bar with adjustable roll centre sonif you were going to use this housing it will require a bit of fab for your application.
